Android is Google’s darling, the operating system that is on its way to a new phase. Android 14 was previewed for power users, but admittedly the Mountain View company doesn’t need many excuses or new builds to launch new features.
Today, through an entry on the official Google blog, they let us know upcoming features that different apps and platforms will havelike Android and ChromeOS. This announcement takes advantage of the arrival of the MWC 2023 in Barcelona, which is taking place these days in Europe.
A widget for Google Keep, noise cancellation for Meet and…
Among the most remarkable novelties, the improvement that the Google Notes application is going to receive clearly stands out. Google Keep has always seemed like a great option to us because of its features, but suffered from a widget until the rest of the application.
Now this update brings to our home screen a complete widget that will display our lists, which can take notes or mark as done some of the tasks (this will prevent us from opening the application from time to time), and it will be added to the list of Android 13 widgets. For WearOS, the operating system for smartwatches, there will be a new shortcut.
The next service to get good news is Google Meet. The video call and messaging service gets a dose of Noise cancellation
Chromebooks are also receiving new audio enhancements, i.e. they will be able to easier to connect to Bluetooth headsets. Google gives an example of its Pixel Buds next to a computer with the company’s system.
The emoji fusion is awesome. Chrome better with zoom.
The coolest feature is added to GBoard, so the keyboard for Android welcomes new emoji combinations. It will be curious to merge a basketball with a heart, and if not check it out in the picture below. A number of variants are added so that personalize our messages
A minor novelty is the new animation when paying with Google Wallet, but more useful is the new Chrome feature: the ability to zoom anywhere. Google’s browser will allow us to pinch the screen to enlarge or shrink the interface of the website we are viewing.
This includes text, photos, videos or other interactive elements that can be viewed on a larger scale without altering the natural layout of the page. It can be tested now if we install Chrome Beta and go to Settings > Accessibility, but in March it will reach the stable version.
