They were running out of time. Boys from I fix it They’ve already put the screwdriver in the new Apple AirPods Max. They took them apart and posted their first impressions. A new device with a somewhat curious arrangement of internal components.

iFixit normally displays a teardown of every new Apple product, and this time it was no different with the AirPods Max. They just posted a first impression of what they found under the tampons. They will present a more comprehensive report later.
As we already know, AirPods Max come with two dynamic 40mm drivers, two magnetic pads, eight microphones for noise cancellation and two H1 chips inside, one for each side of the helmet.
An x-ray of the AirPods Max revealed that Apple’s new headphones have two battery cells, housed in a single earpiece. iFixit noticed that there were solder joints and wires near the batteries, but they have yet to find the connectors to easily replace the batteries.
While the membranes appear to be protected by screws, there are parts of AirPods Max which are attached with glue. iFixit had to warm up the headphones to completely disassemble them. They are quite complicated to take apart, to be a helmet.
In the images they posted, the internal components of the AirPods Max are seen, such as the Bluetooth chip, audio amplifier, accelerometer, etc. iFixit says that will share a more in-depth analysis of AirPods Max in the coming days. So we’ll see what else they can explain to us about the inside of the new Apple headset.
