Apple has just updated its iWork suite on both iPhone and iPad and Mac Minor changes that continue to make three very interesting office applications and completely free to develop our projects. A timely update, since Apple launched iWork 11 just a year ago.
A device on several fronts
With version number 12.0 for iOS and macOS versions, Apple is refining Pages, Numbers and Keynote with minor improvements. The the list of novelties is moderate, but interesting.
In Pages we can now publish books in Apple Books that occupy more than 2 GB, ideal for those that contain many images or in which we have inserted videos or music. We can also insert page numbers anywhere in the document and change font sizes to two decimal places. Moreover, we can quickly start a new Pages document on iPhone by simply holding down its icon and choosing the corresponding option from the menu. Finally, VoiceOver can now read and track comments and edits.
Fr figures, in addition to the new font size precision, we can now copy a snapshot of any table without its formulas, categories, or hidden values. Additionally, we can now use VoiceOver to create formulas and fill cells.
We meet in Keynote, which is the application that receives the least news. These focus on more precise font sizes and increase the maximum zoom level of a slide to 400%.
Moderate, almost small, tweaking news three very interesting applications for office tasks. Applications that are now more efficient and that allow us to work in a more versatile way in our documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
