We’ve been using it for a few weeks, as we recently told you about in its review, but we’ve also had the opportunity to review it with the Pixel 6a, a phone we’ve talked about on several occasions as it has become, de facto, the mid-range reference.
In this article, we are going to compare the two products as they are direct rivals while the Pixel 6a is still on sale. Of course, we are going to do it from the point of view of the average user of these mobiles, the one who wants a competent terminal but who does not care about the specifications, and who values the camera above all.
The price difference
Let’s start by talking about the elephant in the room. The Pixel 7a was announced at a price of 509 dollars, a little high but in line with expectations. The Pixel 6a went on sale last year at 459 dollars
The relevant thing is that this mobile has been on sale for a few months for 359 dollarswhat makes the difference between the two 150 euroalmost a third of the price of the Pixel 7a and nearly half the price of the Pixel 6a.

As for the front-facing video, we liked both, preferring certain shots in one case and those of the other model in others.
Rear video is better on the Pixel 7a, because of the stabilization, the recording rate, the sound… It’s not a drastic change, but if you look at it, you can say that the change is visible.
