How to mark a user as a favorite

To be able to enjoy the timeline dedicated to your favorite users on Instagram, you must first select a few and mark them as such. You can do this in two different ways.

The first is as simple as accessing the favorites section by clicking on the Instagram logo on the main screen. Once there, the company will tell you that it doesn’t have your favorite users and you want to add some, taking you to a list with the users you follow so you can select them from there.

The second way is to go to the profile of each user you want to add and click on the “Follow” button, because when you do, a list will appear with options you can do, such as unfollow them or add to favourites.

How to view the feed of favorite users

When you have already selected who your favorite users are, all that remains is to access the section where you can see all the news that have been uploaded to their timeline.

To access this section, all you have to do is go to the normal Instagram timeline and click on the company logo. When it does, a menu will appear where, yes, you can choose to see the stream only with your favorite users.

This will only show new posts that the users you have included are uploading to the social network, be it photographs, videos, or reels.

However, you will not see a section with the stories of these users, because to see this you will have to go to the main feed or each user’s profile to click on their profile picture and see this type of content.

A few things about the favorites

This new section of the social network is special and there are some things you should keep in mind about it before using it. The first is that this list is completely private, so there is no way for users you’ve added or anyone else to see who your list members are.
