The upcoming big version of the iPhone and iPod touch app, iOS 14, will see in June during WWDC 2020. Nothing is known about rias how the system will launch, though some designers have already made some ideas for what I would like to see. It is also unclear which devices will work together, but there are new rumors that everyone using iOS 13 will be able to update.
The FrenchSSoft site of France shared information obtained from an Apple developer suspected of the Maps app, confirming that iOS 13 compatible devices will also be on iOS 14. This is not the first time that it has occurred, since all those who have received iOS 12 are supported by iOS 11.

If this were true, we would be talking about the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus, the two centers launched in September 2015, they will have received five years of software upgrades. These phones have 2 GB of RAM and Apple A9 processor. And the iPhone SE would be four years old (introduced in 2016), with details similar to the two examples mentioned.
However, the media noted that although their source confirms that these devices are on the iOS 14 provisional list, Apple may eventually not make it eligible for the final update if they do not reach the minimum of quality depending on performance.
Which iPad would be compatible with iPadOS 14
Don't forget that the iPad operating system is no longer iOS, but IPOS, version specifically for company tablets with special features. The French website also wants to get in on which iPad models can be compatible with IPOS 14:

According to the listing, the only iPad that couldn't upgrade to iPadOS 14 would be iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4. The first one went on sale in October 2014, and the second one in September 2015. The iPad mini has 2 GB of RAM and an A8 processor, while the iPad Air 2 also has 2 GB of RAM, or processor for -A8X, enhanced version.
Until June arrives and Apple has announced a list of compatible iOS 14 and IPOS 14 devices we won't know which ones to update, which is why the information provided by the media must be taken with some degree of uncertainty.
