iOS 15.6 beta 1 now available for download a few days after experiencing iOS 16

Apple launches the first beta of iOS 15.6 at the gates of the presentation of iOS 16 at WWDC22.

Just a few days after the release of the final version of iOS 15.5 with all its new features, Apple just released the first beta of iOS 15.6. This new software update comes a few days after the release of iOS 16, which is expected to be showcased at the WWDC 2022 conference in early June.

If iOS 15.5 was already a update more focused on security than on new features

fixing more than 30 security vulnerabilities, with iOS 15.6 looks like we’ll be following the same path. The big news Apple will have in store for iOS 16. iOS 15 is nearing the end of its cycle and we won’t see many big improvements by September.

Few new features of iOS 15.6 are known, at least in this first beta. The only new thing that has been discovered is related to accessibilityand these are probably the news that Apple announced this week and which will arrive at the end of the year.

How to Install iOS 15 Beta and Compatible Devices

If you want to try beta versions of iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 on your iPhone or iPad, just download the developer profile on your device. Your iPhone or iPad will restart, then the update will appear for download on Settings > General > Software Update
