The arrival of iOS 15 presaged news but above all stability. Users have rubbed their hands on a version with “little new features” focused on getting all the performance out of our devices. However, it seems that Apple has been struggling to press the iOS key lately, to fix one thing it ends up breaking another and that’s no good.
Many users experience battery life, percentage, and health issues with iOS 15 on pre-iPhone 13 models. Many users wonder how Apple handled batteries after the last OS update.
The most striking way this software glitch manifests itself is the fact that users who have recently acquired an iPhone 12 or iPhone 11 have seen how battery health increased from 100% to 95% (or even less) in a few weeks, without corresponding to normal use of the device. In principle, this shouldn’t be too noticeable, but in more serious cases, like the one affecting a server, the battery health has not only gone from 100% to 96% since the launch of iOS 15, but the percentage of battery represented gives constant jumps accompanied by a supposedly shorter duration. You can see the battery percentage issue in this video:
We keep on going with the battery of the #iPhone to # iOS15 a very serious problem that Apple takes weeks to resolve and which is a hot topic in industry forums. – @A_iPhone pic.twitter.com/GpuRxE0fTA

If you are suffering from this issue, we want to warn you that there is no point in restoring the device as new or with a backup copy. For now, Apple’s technical service does not recognize this problem and simply says that if the battery condition meets standards, it will not make repairs. Presumably on Reddit and Forocoches they warn that the beta of iOS 15.1 seems to fix this detail, so with the next expected update these issues should be fixed.
