If you’ve installed iOS 16, you may be among those affected by what you probably consider to be the worst bug in the initial system release: excessive alerts when pasting content from one app to another. It happens to at least every user of one of the new iPhone 14s. But we have good news for anyone who dares to install the beta versions.
Patience… or beta 2
This iOS 16 bug causes an alert to appear each time you want to paste content from one app to another, disrupt user experience instead of just being an informational notification at the top of the screen.
But it turns out that the second beta version of iOS 16.1 was recently released resolve this error. Apple revealed that we’ll see it patched in a week, so we might see a security update sometime next week that bumps iOS 16.1 and pushes that fix forward.
If you are one of those who dare to install betas, you can cheer up with this iOS 16.1 Beta 2 and fix the problem right now. If not, it looks like you only have a few more days to wait. If you didn’t buy an iPhone 14 You probably didn’t even know this problem existed..
