One of the best things about iOS is that it doesn’t include the so-called bloatware on their devices, but if you’re not using the company’s native apps, you can turn that fact into a debate. True, iOS does not preinstall third-party apps, but whenever you upgrade your iPhone, you have to uninstall many of the natives you will never use
Well, good news for these types of people: iOS 16 will let you uninstall even more apps than factory-installed on iPhone. For perfectionists who don’t want to know anything about apps they don’t use, this is a giveaway.
If you don’t like it, remove it.
Apps that we can uninstall in iOS 16 are Camera, fitness, clock and search. These are basic apps for many people, but others may not want to use them. Photographers may prefer apps like Halide, or maybe someone is clear that they won’t be using Fitness for their exercise routines.
Likewise, there are those who may find Clock as something they don’t need, or who want to protect their privacy so much that they don’t want to enable Search location. It is strongly recommended to do so, but it is not mandatory. And so Apple kills two birds with one stone by staying away from possible legal problems, far from possible accusations of imposing the use of its own applications on those of third parties.
Needless to say we can reinstall all these apps again from the App Store if after deleting them we change our minds. Apple had to work to make iOS able to work without them, which would have been unthinkable years ago.
