The Notification Summary feature arrived in previous betas of iOS 18.1 as an additional feature in the Apple Intelligence Pack. This feature allows the device to read and understand the context of the notifications we receive and, instead of showing them all, Create a summary of all notifications. This way, reading app notifications is much easier because it summarizes what is most important. Until now, this feature was only available in the Mail and Messages app, the native iOS, iPadOS and macOS apps.

A few days ago, Apple released iOS 18.1 Developer Beta 3 and one of the new features is extended notification summary to all apps

which are installed on iPhone, iPad or Mac This way we can get a summary of notifications from any application and not just Mail and Messages: both native apps and the rest of the apps in the App Store.

With this feature, users will be able to select the applications to which they want to apply the summary since this feature can be configured from the application. Settings > Notifications > Summary Previews. Once in this section, we can enable or disable applications individually.
