iOS 18.1 Control Center will include two new changes

In the coming weeks, the big launch of iOS 18.1 will take place, the next big update since the official launch of iOS 18 in September. Additionally, in the fifth developer beta of iOS 18.1, Apple included two small changes to the control center.

Two new changes in iOS 18.1 Control Center

The new Control Center has been available since the start of iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. It is a big design change which moves to a circular design and a new customization system in which it is the user himself who modifies shortcuts, functions to activate quickly and much more. This is why Sometimes so many changes are generated that it is difficult to return to the initial situation, as reported by new iOS 18 users.

Therefore, Apple will present a way to reset Control Center

in the new version of iOS 18.1. This function is integrated into the Settings menu of the new iOS 18.1 and the user can return to the original control center by clicking on it: “Reset Control Center“.

Additionally, the fifth beta version of iOS 18.1 added a new function that allows add separate Wi-Fi and VPN controls instead of all being located in the connections “folder”. Thanks to this we can delete the entire folder and leave only the Wi-Fi button, to have faster action. However, These two new buttons cannot be added to the lock screen.
