iOS 18 will allow multiple pages in the Control Center

The Control Center will undergo significant changes with the arrival of iOS 18, and not only will we be able to customize it, but we will also be able to you can add different elements on several pagesto be able to organize everything as we wish.

The Control Center allows us to activate and deactivate functions quickly thanks to its access from anywhere in the system with the simple gesture of swiping up and down. But it wasn’t always like that, we didn’t even always have Control Center, which debuted in 2013 with the launch of iOS 7. Before that, one of the main reasons why a server would be jailbroken

It was precisely about installing settings like SBSettings and NCSettings and being able to access the quick activation buttons for Wifi, Bluetooth or GPS. These were other times when our device batteries lasted much less and we had to turn functions on and off to get through the day. More than ten years later, it can achieve one of the most significant changes since its integration into our devices.

Currently, the only customization option that the Control Center offers us is the possibility of adding or removing elements from the lower rows and reordering them. The upper 2/3 of the Control Center are fixed, without possibility of modification. This will, however, change with iOS 18, since we will be able to rearrange all the elements, and some of them will also be improved, such as the playback control which will become a full-width widget in which we can even see the album art that sounds . And if that wasn’t enough, we can add new elements and organize them by pages, so that we can have everything more organized: one page for functions, another for home automation, for example. No more news? We are a little over a day away from seeing them all.
