According to these plans, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will measure 77.58mm wide, slightly narrower than the iPhone 13 Pro Max which measures 78.1mm. Additionally, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be nearly identical to the iPhone 13 Pro Max in height, measuring 160.7mm versus 160.8mm.
In thickness, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will measure 7.85mm, slightly thicker than the current high-end iPhone, which measures just 7.65mm. With the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple has significantly increased the size of the rear camera dock compared to the iPhone 12 Pro. In 2022, Apple is looking to repeat a similar trend, further increasing the thickness of the cameras protrusion

The iPhone 13 Pro Max’s camera dock measures just 3.60mm in height, according to guidelines created by Apple for accessory makers. Based on the iPhone 14 Pro Max schematics shared today, the camera bump on the high-end 2022 iPhone will have 4.17 millimeters thick. The camera dock itself on the back of the iPhone will also increase by approximately 5% in each dimension, from the current width of 35.01mm to 36.73mm and a height from 36.24mm to 38.21mm.
Schematics of the smaller iPhone 14 Pro were also released today. Based on these plans, the iPhone 14 Pro is nearly identical to the iPhone 13 Pro in width at just 71.45mm compared to the current 71.5mm. The height of the iPhone 14 Pro will also remain essentially unchanged from the iPhone 13 Pro, which measures 147.46mm compared to the iPhone 13 Pro. 147.5mm Like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the iPhone 14 Pro will also feature a thicker camera highlightat 4.17mm versus 3.60mm on the current iPhone 13 Pro.
