Samsung’s flagship terminal for this generation, within its Galaxy S, is the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In addition to standing out for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, it also stands out for a screen covered in Gorilla Armor from which we learned its manufacturing process.
Speaking of the screen, this also ended up killing a trend that was not to the taste of all users, but they undoubtedly stood out for Galaxy AI and top-flight cameras. These surprised us because of the photographic quality but it was not without problems
The update is not ready yet, Samsung is still working on it
It all started a few days after the launch of Samsung’s latest premium range, a Galaxy S24 Ultra which was accumulating reports on the company’s official forums due to camera and screen issues. It didn’t take long for the Korean firm to resolve the issue with a major update with improvements on both fronts.
However, the bugs reported by users were not immediately fixed. Among them, faulty white balance, overexposure of images, problems with the telephoto lens and abnormal red colors are reported. ruined the photographic experience
Fortunately, Samsung is working to Fix these issues by updating which is in development. Last week, the famous leak Ice Universe (@UniverseIce on X, formerly Twitter) announced that the new firmware would arrive in early April.
In the end, it wasn’t like that, and even though there were still a few days left in the month, it would have been postponed. The same user mentioned again that this update will be delayed, at least until next June
Although not all users suffer from these issues (we reported a few in the Xataka analysis), they seem to have affected a large number of them, as we can see in the aforementioned Samsung community and others corners of the network like Reddit.
As soon as we hear about the update rolling out, just go to “Settings” > “Software Update” > and tap “Download and Install” to resolve them. We recommend doing this via WiFi to download the update which will continue to maintain One UI 6.1 and its most important functions.
