Airtag

We are already taking for granted that Apple will actually introduce its own "tags", those little NFC-compatible devices and a place where in theory it will allow us to easily interact with our home devices, find the lost keys and know how many other devices we'll be able to get rid of. Either way, there is a real doubt as to what kind of batteries Apple will use to power its tool. The final filter is focused on CR2032 batteries already used on similar devices such as the Tile type.

According to MacRumors when they have access to reliable sources, these Apple AirTags will use CR2032 batteries. These batteries are of a high quality, cannot be recycled and should be replaced every time they run out. For example, those Tile models lasted for about a year, although that would depend on the usage we provide. Of course, we think Apple will put these batteries in the product directly when we buy it. These batteries are rarely cheap, but they are wide and easy to find even in supermarkets, so they should not be a problem.

Although we all think they will use the NFC, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple can use the Ultra-Wideband system that guarantees low usage, to leave out the expensive Bluetooth and WiFi technology. However, recently a controversy has surfaced around UWB and battery usage on the iPhone. Either way, this device will come with the luxury of many HomeKit features such as customization of certain devices, because if something almost always goes with us it's exactly our iPhone, even though most Apple devices are fully compatible with this new system.
