Last April we said that Google Meet will open its phones for everyone. This Google Video calling service is very much focused on the business world, which is why it was linked to Google Suite accounts. However, Google has announced the opening of this service for everyone, even though there is a limited time.
Google now says it's already available to everyone. Delivery began May 4 but, as usual, has been ongoing and has not been completed yet. In other words, it is now possible. Google Meet is now officially free until September 30 for all users.
The meet has completed its shipping and is free to everyone
