If you are looking for a corded vacuum cleaner, one of the references in the sector is the Proscenic P11, a complete model that despite the number of functions and options has a very competitive price.

That’s why it’s surprising that the company has now announced its successor, the Proscenic P12, and it’s quite different from the current model.

This is the Proscenic P12

The main difference between the Proscenic P11 and the P12 is obvious to the naked eye. The design of the dust bin has been completely changed: while in the current model it is attached to the bottom of the motor, in the P12 the bin and the motor are integrated into a single unit.

Personally, I think this is a smart change, as it solves one of the big issues that the P11 had from my perspective, which was difficult to disassemble and remove both the dust bin and the battery. The redesign makes the P12 more similar to competing alternatives like the Roborock H7, but we expect usability improvements in exchange for a loss of originality.

Proscenic also offers other changes, such as the new motor that reaches a suction power of 33 kPa, which allows the motorized brush to be moved efficiently so that it picks up all the dirt and particles from the floor. All this, with an improved 2500 mAh battery to achieve 60 minutes of cleaning in silent mode and 13 minutes in maximum mode.

One of the unique features of this motorized brush on the P11 was its built-in lights, which help pick up dirt even in low-light areas; with the P12, these lights turn green to better detect remaining particles, something Proscenic calls a “Vertect Light”.

Another change in the brush concerns the shape of the bristles, which are now V-shaped to reduce the entanglement of the bristles, which is especially useful if we have a pet.

There are still details to be clarified about the Proscenic P12, such as its launch date or its price, but we hope that it will be similar to the 240 dollars that the previous model costs.
