The update to New One UI 6.1.1 It is full of artificial intelligence features, some very useful and even fun to use. This version of the operating system has the ability to transform our portraits into comics and sketches, giving life to our drawings and has more advanced functions for the system.
However, not everything is artificial intelligence. One UI 6.1.1 includes some very useful features and tools for everyday use that are not related to AI. One of these new features adds more possibilities to the way we answer our calls.
How to answer calls even faster, even using the mobile speakerphone
The AI features and big interface changes are great, but we also appreciate those small but important improvements that Samsung has added with each new update to its operating system. This time, gives us more options for answering calls.
Until now, Samsung phones with One UI allowed you to answer calls by sliding your finger from the answer button to the center of the screen, and the same process allows you to reject calls, only from its respective button. Starting with One UI 6.1.1, we can not only slide to answer, we can also choose answer calls with just a tap.
If it is very easy to answer a call with the standard method, that is, by sliding, it is also true that on many occasions I prefer to answer even faster, by simply pressing the button to answer the call. This can be very useful in situations where I cannot do the gesture comfortably with my hand or, for example, if I want answer a call when your phone is on the table or in a car holder
We can change the way we answer calls by following these steps:
- Let’s move on to the application Phone and click on the three-dot button in the upper right corner. Then we select Settings
- In this menu we access the option Answer/end calls
- Now click on Gesture to answer calls and finally select Pulsar
And that’s it. Now, whenever you receive a call, you will be able to answer it simply by touching the screen, without having to make any gestures, which can be annoying in some situations.
Additionally, in this menu we also find an option that allows answer calls using the default speakeras long as no Bluetooth device is connected, such as a headset. If you are one of those who answer calls using their mobile’s speakers when you are in the car, this option will save you from having to switch to speakers every time you need to talk on the phone.
