Jetpack Joyride 2 now available in Europe: infinite race with Jerry

Europe, Infinite, Jerry, jetpack, Joyride, Race

From the makers of Fruit Ninja 2 Jetpack Joyride 2 arrives with Barry Steakfries doing his thing in this new infinite race. More modes, adventures and fun for a new game that you have available in Europe and which we already previewed a few weeks ago during its regional launch.

Halfbrick Studios has to its credit productions of the caliber of Dan the Man or previous Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. The latter needed a renewal and has now arrived so that you can download it for free from the Play Store.

Barry Steakfries awaits you in Jetpack Joyride 2

Halfbrick Studios tends to measure the games it releases very well and take care of all their aspects so that they have the greatest possible impact. You could almost say that we are facing a video game studio that in this sense resembles Blizzard with its Diablo, Starcraft and more.

Abilities in Jetpack Joyride 2

Jetpack Joyride 2 follows this same rule and nothing was left in the pipeline for us to enjoy the beauty with the new adventures of Barry Streakfries, the sympathetic protagonist who will use both his jetpack to avoid collisions and a large number of vehicles and abilities.

As in the first, it is necessary focus on Barry’s flight with his jetpack to collect coins. With repeated strikes, we’ll bring Barry up, and if we don’t do anything, he’ll descend to dodge guided missiles or devilishly localized traps that can dramatically reduce his health.

Upgrade Barry almost endlessly

Endless race from Jetpack Joyride 2

One of the highlights of the first Joyride Jetpack was its continuous improvements, achievements, and the new jetpacks we were able to acquire for Barry. Nothing has changed now for us to have the same goals, however for the moment the achievements are not available.

With the regional release, we don’t have Barry’s skins or jetpack skins either, so we have to settle for with the investigation of the “ power-ups ” to improve Crossfire, Rotating Blaster, Accelerator or Flamethrower, among others.

We can too access inventions to eliminate a large number of enemies and thus go as far as possible at the level at which we play. And although we are faced with an “endless runner” or an endless race, the levels have their limits.

Of all the vehicles Jerry has now, only one of the new ones remains: the galactic ship. With this we can shoot enemy ships that leap for us, collect coins and even split gigantic asteroids in half to clear our way.

Limited but sufficient energy

Jetpack Joyride 2

Maybe what we didn’t like so much was that force us to watch videos to receive better rewards. We continue with the energy points to continue playing and which are automatically refilled from time to time. We have the feeling that the freemium model does not look as well spun as in the first JetPack Joyride.

We can understand that being released regionally, Halfbrick Studios continue to optimize the monetization model so that the experience is as balanced as possible both for players who play for free and for those who use micropayments.

Rewards in Jetpack Joyride 2

Anyway, Technically and visually, it is on the same level as the other outputs of the studio and the experience is complete with some vehicles that stand out from the others. Of all the ones we’ve tried, we are left with the ship that has become our favorite.

JetPack Joyride 2 you now have it available for free in Europe for a whole endless race of goodies that will be done in a short time with a large community of players. Now it’s your turn to play a fun game with Jerry, his jetpack, and his inventions.
