It seems unbelievable, but the Galaxy S25 will hit the market very soon. Samsung’s new strategy, launched with the Galaxy S24, has brought forward the launch of its “premium” mobile phones to more directly compete with its big rivals, the iPhone and the Google Pixel. This also means that next-gen leaks are happening sooner than ever.
We already have a very clear idea of what the Galaxy S25 will look like, but in case there was any doubt, Roland Quandt in X has released new photographs of the full lineup. The leak appears to come from a case manufacturer, as they show the front of all the devices, as well as what the transparent cases will look like; although the leak does not reveal the brand name, perhaps to avoid repercussions.
The images confirm the rumors published so far: that the Galaxy S25 will not represent a huge change from the previous generation, at least in terms of design. We know that inside all models will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which will immediately place them among the most powerful mobile phones on the market; but other than that, there shouldn’t be much new, and Samsung will focus on Galaxy AI and new features to attract the audience.
The photos show a Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus that can be mistaken for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus respectively, with the same set of cameras on the back and the same general design. Where we will find the most differences is in the Ultra model, which is the only one to adopt a new design compared to the previous generation, although it is not very different.
The photo confirms that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have more rounded corners, moving away from the square design that the Ultras had until now and which they inherited from the Galaxy Note. The new design will be smaller, but without sacrificing screen; It’s simply that Samsung has made advances in production that will allow it to create a large, more ergonomic mobile phone. In this way, the Ultra model will look a little more like the rest of the range, and not like until now where it seemed to come from a different range; It nevertheless remains recognizable compared to the base Galaxy S25 and the Plus model.
Although these seem little new, especially compared to what other brands have presented or will present, it is because Samsung would also launch a “special edition” of the Galaxy S25 in the second quarter of the year. The latest leak reveals the existence of a thinner and lighter Galaxy S25 Special Edition with a different design, which would be a taste of the advances that the next generations will bring.
