Samsung recently released One UI 6.1.1, a new version of its personalization layer that adds several artificial intelligence features, in addition to other changes. The first compatible devices have already started to receive it, including members of the Galaxy S23 family. However, one of these models also started experiencing an issue after the update.
Specifically, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a camera crash after updating to One UI 6.1.1. After discovering this bug, we recommend users of this mobile to wait before updating to the latest version of the operating system. Fortunately, the wait is over, as Samsung has already started releasing an update that fixes the bug.
How to update your Samsung Galaxy: One UI fixes Galaxy S23 problem
The fault in question is linked to the zoom of the Galaxy s23 Ultra camera. After updating to One UI 6.1.1, photos captured using camera zoom may suffer from “ghosting” or even photos may be blurry. Specifically, the problem may occur when using a zoom between 16x and 19.9x.
Since this failure did not occur before updating to the latest OS version, it is most likely a software issue related to image processing. A South Korean society forum moderator assured that A solution was on the way, and it has already started to arrive.
Samsung released a new update software for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is version S91xNKSU4CXI1, approximately 380 MB in size.
This update fixes the camera outage that started with the update to One UI 6.1.1, as confirmed by the first users to receive it. For now the update has started reaching users of these phones in South Korea, but in the coming days it will reach users in more territories around the world, you just have to be attentive to receive it .
