Make your lock screen look like an original Macintosh with this editable background

Background, editable, lock, Macintosh, original, screen

The new iOS 16 lock screen has us all waiting: it will be a very big change in how we will use this screen and how we will configure our backgrounds. But if you are already a certain age, this new lock screen will also be a good way to show off your veteran. How? Well, with a background that pays homage to the original Macintosh.

An iPhone that makes those of us who are old smile

The image was created by Reddit user NiVi-OoF, and you can download it from this link or you can even edit it by uploading this file for Keynote. The idea is that the iPhone look like an original Macintosh with windows open showing the time or even space for iOS 16 lock screen widgets.

This example is perhaps the first of a wave of original images to use as backgrounds on the iOS 16 lock screen: it will no longer be a question of placing static images and that’s it, but of play with these backgrounds and some effects to create a unique lock screen that no one else has. As soon as iOS 16 is stable and public, we will see an explosion of this type of fund.

Keep in mind that this background was designed to fit the interface of iOS 16, so if you are using the stable version of iOS 15 (which I recommend) the image will not fit not good. There’s not much left for iOS 16 to be among us, so you just need a little more patience.
