Several attempts have already been made on Google to become available a worthy character in the instant messaging market. Google Talk provided the opportunity for Hangouts to finally connect to the right place, and on the other hand Google Allo, which was eventually closed, and a different concept by Google Duo, based on video calls, were the things that followed the bet.
However, it seems that the slow but steady increase in RCS rich messaging rates has opened the doors of Google's managed app, Google messages, be in a good position to spend money on them. Movistar, Vodafone and Orange, are talking about Spain, recommending their use after adding RCS messages to their services, and everything is booming. Now, Google is fixing issues for its service, all figuratively.
Responding and drawing in pictures
The news comes after the launch of the latest version of Google Message surrounding the beta circles of corporate users. Specifically, of version 5.7 because there are chains that refer to the future features of the app. The functionality is totally inconsistent when we talk about SMS messages but it looks great when we consider Messages as an RCS client.
On the other hand we received a message response. The classic "I like", "I'm happy" or "It saddens me" that we now see on such networks as Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Instagram, the latter to a lesser extent by having only hearts. Google would be preparing the ground to use it, so the reaction would be something to be sent from one user to another, bringing it closer to the instant messaging experience.
The reaction when the world is already prepared is as follows: Six up, thumb down, angry face, face with tears of joy, face smiling with hearts in eyes, face crying, face with mouth open. That means: I like it, I don't like it, anger, laughter, love, sadness and wonder.
But more than this, Google Text Messages 5.7 appeared in a future interface for painting. From typing to brush, marker and classic site, with different colors to choose from. Painting photos and posting them with Google messages will be a reality soon. Also, another feature of bringing messages closer to the rest of the world is texting. Is this correct, Google?
