Microsoft formalizes the launch of Office 2024, suitable and ideal for users who wish to acquire a lifetime license
According to Microsoft’s official announcement, a standalone version of Office 2024 has been released for users who want to purchase the office suite instead of subscribing monthly or annually. The version includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook. The downside is that once purchased, you won’t have access to future included updates, like in Microsoft 365. Will it be worth upgrading from previous editions?
Microsoft 365 is not the only way to have Office, Microsoft offers a traditional alternative with Office 2024
A few months ago we announced to you on iPadizate that a next version of Office would be released for Mac and it is here. Major improvements are made for better performance, especially with multiple open documents. Collaboration is fundamental today and Office 2024 includes an option to “like” participant comments, as well as the ability to respond.
Outlook improves For users with a Magic Trackpad or Magic Mouse, Fully customizable swipe gestures included. This results in better management of emails while browsing them. On the other hand, PowerPoint includes support for a live camera feed for slides called “Present with Cameo”. Also added “Recording Studio” which will allow you to record all types of animations, transitions and even handwritten entries and narrations. If you include videos or audio files in your presentations you can now add subtitles dedicated to hearing impaired people.
For OneNote users, a new and improved handwriting experience is included. For this, the full screen view is offered and will be focused from the point of view of writing only with the pencil. The design of all Office 2024 applications retains its essence without radical changes in the location of functions. Here you can see other news about Office 2024.
