It seemed that the last month of the year would be calm for a Samsung which is preparing the update to Android 14 with One UI 6 for its Galaxy phones. But it was not so, the Korean manufacturer announces the arrival of two terminals which had already debuted abroad: the Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A05.
They are now arriving in Europe to form a very interesting entry and mid-range. They’re budget-friendly, but that doesn’t mean they abandon Samsung’s new update policy. Let’s see them technical characteristics, price and availability.
Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A05s pricing and availability

The Galaxy A25 will go on sale in three different colors: Black, Yellow and Blue. On the other hand, the Galaxy A05s will be available in black, green and silver.
Exynos core for the A25 and Snapdragon for the A05S
The two terminals equip a modest “brain”, but capable of managing the most used applications. On the one hand, we have the Snapdragon 680
Regarding internal storage, Samsung offers two options for each model: 128 or 256 GB on the A25 and 64 or 128 GB on the A05S. Of course, both have panels with FullHD+ resolution, although it will be AMOLED technology in the top model.
The photographic section does not change too much between one and the other, highlighting the main sensors of 50 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture in both models. Additional cameras vary: the Galaxy A25 includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, while the Galaxy A05s makes do with a testimonial depth sensor. The third in the running is repeated on both smartphones, namely a 2 megapixel macro sensor.
On the other hand, autonomy will be given by a 5,000 mAh internal battery, which will charge quickly at 25 watts. The software, as it could not be otherwise, stands out for the customization layer, a One UI 6 that has not been deployed for too long. The system included in the more modest one is unknown: its international version has Android 13 as well as One UI Core (a lite version).
While the Galaxy A25 has 5G connectivity, the Galaxy A05s remains in 4G. The rest of the connectivity specifications remain at a good level with WiFi AC, NFC and Bluetooth 5.1. As an unlocking method, they have a fingerprint sensor on the side.
