Smartphones screens began to grow almost since the introduction of the original iPhone and the first Android sites. However, we have reached a point where more than a few inches may have an undesirable and undesirable effect. This is where the producers come in race to speed up your smartphones fully.
In the spring of 2017 Important call, the first smartphone with a notch like the one we see today. Later, in September of that year, iPhone X, responsible for sharpening the eyebrow. With the press release being released by Apple, its construction has served to inspire many other firms.
Producers soon used the notch in their new releases. During the 2018 season we attended a true event of notches of all kinds, big, small, round, downhill … Along with traditional frames, it's been the only option for a while, but mechanical systems and pop-up cameras They started to work their way up.
Why stay on screen when I can hide the camera?
OPPO Get X has shown us that there are other ways to use a notch. And what are the alternatives. Its operating system not only provided a stunning design, but also allowed to take advantage of a large percentage of the front – 87% to be more precise – with its 6.4-inch OLED panel.
The past of 2019 has been able to see how it's done several manufacturers pointed to the trend of pop-up cameras, In this case with a simple system that did not force the rear cameras to hide. OnePlus introduced OnePlus 7 Pro – later OnePlus 7T Pro – with this technology. And Xiaomi, with places like the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro.
Huawei was one of the manufacturers who chose these hidden cameras, we found it on the Huawei P Smart Z. It's not included on any of its flagships, but one of the families that provided the most sales in countries such as Spain. In the same way, other terminals arrived last year with this technology. However, that all looks set to change by the year 2020.
What happens to pop-up cameras?
Aside from firms like Redmi, which has kept the design on the new Redmi K30, many firms choose this year a new trend, a hole in the screen. Xiaomi has chosen the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro mine, though all suggest that OnePlus will add a hole to the OnePlus 8 Pro panel.
However, if there is something you really want to know, it's the OPPO story. Even OPPO Get X2, the expected redesign of the Chinese flag, has left its masterpiece in a state of shock. Not only is OPPO's service completely lost to its core, the new Reno3 has also been introduced with a notch and a hole in the screen.
That one "Shark fin", existing at OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno2, has disappeared, The end is the main sign of the Chinese name. And I think this is one of the worst consequences of this change, the loss of humanity.

I am not yet clear about the reasons for this change, or, I think, it will be due to a few factors. Of course, a system that works somehow runs the risk of failure or infringement, but it doesn't appear that any of the pop-up camera devices we mentioned have caused too many problems. Is it cheaper to put a hole in the screen than a do-it-yourself system? Probably yes. Is it easy? Also, it is also not necessary to leave space for the internal machine. Most likely, the latter had a lot of weight.
I don't particularly like this change, I love the pop-up cameras. They seem to me to be the best solution, because they allow full use of the panel without interruption. In addition, considering I don't use the front camera too much, I won't be forced to use the machine multiple times. In any case, there seems to be no turning back.
In a market plagued by almost identical smartphonesWithout the actual details, the screen hole seems to have turned into a new trend. And something won't end here, of course, during the next year of 2021 we will go to the new one.
