Motorola Edge 30 fusion, elegant and balanced
If you can’t afford the $899 Edge 30 Ultra, the phone that’s really for you might be the Motorola Edge 30 fusion, as it retains many of the design lines of the more expensive model, with competent equipment.
Made with a polished aluminum frame, the Edge 30 fusion will turn heads with a design that combines front and rear glass and a rear that is obviously inspired by that of the Edge 30 Ultra. Using glass doesn’t mean this mobile will be one of those that constantly slips, thanks to the matte finish on the back.
Inside, the chosen processor is a Snapdragon 888+, the most powerful of Qualcomm’s latest generation; While it doesn’t quite reach the level of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it should be up to the job in most circumstances and does get a 5G connection.
We couldn’t expect the same 200 Mpx camera from the Edge 30 Ultra, but in return, this Edge 30 Fusion has a 50 Mpx main sensor with optical stabilization and Quad Pixel technology that combines four pixels in one to improve brightness. pictures. , with which Motorola promises great performance with instant focus and HDR10 and 8K video recording. It also highlights the 32MP selfie camera. The display will be an OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate not usually seen in the industry. The pack is rounded off with 68W fast charging.
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is now available in Europe for 899 dollars, with a discount of 100 dollars during the first weekend of sales, until September 11 on motorola.es.

Motorola Edge 30 Neo, attractive design
The latest model in the range is the cheapest, but Motorola wanted to make up for the less powerful hardware by betting on a more impactful design, mainly thanks to the company’s collaboration with Pantone to use its colors. The Ver Peri (a purple) stands out, Pantone Color of the Year 2022, but will also be available in Black Onyx (black) and Ice Palace (grey).
The mobile itself also reserves some surprises, such as a strip of LED lights that surrounds the camera housing and lights up when we receive a new notification or a call, something that reminds us of the Nothing phone (1).
Despite being the weakest of the hardware, the Edge 30 Neo still has an OLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, so at least in this sense, it will not lag far behind other alternatives.
Plus, it retains the same 68W fast charging and 32MP selfie camera as the more expensive model. Inside we see perhaps more sacrifices to reduce the price, opting for a Snapdragon 695 which, at least, has 5G.
The Motorola Edge 30 Neo costs 399 dollars and comes with a Lenovo Smart Clock 2 smartwatch for the bedside table.
