Nanoleaf is one of the more interesting smart lighting companies we’ve reviewed here in iPhone News. They offer very interesting alternatives to give a special touch of lighting to our home, which is why we are always attentive to future brand news that we find interesting.

Nanoleaf has now included the Thread System in two more of its smart lighting panels in an effort to offer connectivity enhancements. In this way, Nanoleaf continues to lead an interesting proposal of devices of this style, particularly focused on decoration without attracting much attention.

The Thread system makes it possible to use other devices, both Nanoleaf and third-party brands, to act as an auxiliary “router”, that is to say a sort of “mesh” bridge or extension peripherals. WiFi through which the Nanoleaf product can reach the main router even if the original WiFi network is not able to reach your area. The first of these devices will be the HomePod Mini from the Cupertino company, pointing out that for the moment, only Apple products will be able to run the Thread protocol required for the Nanoleaf product.

However, the brand assures that it will soon integrate other products, also from Google, such as the second generation Nest Hub Max. The implementation date of these new devices which will be renovations of Nanoleaf Shapes and Nanoleaf Elements is not too clear.Although Nanoleaf released them ASAP, they have updated their delivery date to “very soon”, so we cannot give more specific information on this. In terms of prices, everything indicates that they will remain as they have been until now without any obvious variation. We hope you can enjoy our Nanoleaf product reviews here on iPhone News.
