The next major update coming to Samsung Galaxy devices is One UI 7. This version of the system will be based on the new Android 15and should arrive on compatible devices from the last quarter of the year. But thanks to the beta version, we will soon be able to discover in advance the new features.
The first beta of One UI 7 will arrive in the next few daysaccording to the latest clues. In fact, it could arrive very soon, since a series of leaks assure that it will be available from Monday, July 29. In principle, only for a selected group of devices.
The new One UI 7 will include significant changes to the interface
Samsung recently unveiled One UI 6.1.1 alongside the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. It’s a minor update, at least in theory, but it still includes new AI-powered features, system security improvements, and new tools to configure the device’s audio.
If One UI 6.1.1 includes so many new features, we can expect that One UI 7 will incorporate many changes and new features in the operating system. Rumors claim that the Android 15-based One UI 7 will include significant changes to the interface, from the relocation of many system icons to a new quick settings panel independent of the notification panel, among other changes.
And soon we will be able to give you a first detailed look at the new features of One UI 7, thanks to the first public beta that will be available from the end of July, according to leaks from Max Jambor and Universe Ice, both dedicated to revealing information of this type before its official announcement. Specifically, One UI 7 beta could arrive next Monday, July 29although it is also likely that it will arrive in the first days of August.
Initially, the One UI 7 beta is expected to be available only for the latest devices in the market. Samsung Galaxy S Familynamely the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24. The company’s latest foldables will have to wait a little longer, as will the other models that will be compatible with this update.
Additionally, One UI betas are usually available first in a few territories, such as the United States and South Korea, so we will probably have to wait to try it in Europe and the rest of the territories. Once the beta is available, we will be able to know more about its availability.
