A few days ago it was revealed that Huawei was working to launch the Huawei P40 Lite with 5G soon, in fact, some phone details were ripe. We do not have to wait long for this new model to be legal, since it was legalized in Italy. The Huawei P40 Lite 5G looks like the P40 Lite we already know, but it introduced a series of changes.

New processor and new primary sensor
The design of the Huawei P40 Lite 5G remains the same as the original P40 Lite, even though there are changes on the back of the phone. As the cameras are now programmed with a vertical vertical module, Huawei's more traditional design. Also, the fingerprint sensor has now been moved to one side of the device. The display retains the shape, though now slightly larger, than the 6.5-inch panel.
The presence of 5G is a whole new thing, something thanks to the Kirin 820G, which supports SA and the NSA. This is the latest product processor, which has made it popular on the Honor 30S, another mid-range and 5G model. Along with the processor comes a different type of RAM and storage of 6 + 128 GB.
And on the rear cameras there are changes, because the main sensor was upgraded. Go from the 48 Mpx sensor we saw on the first P40 Lite 64 Mpx sensor on the Huawei P40 Lite 5G. The remaining sensors, the other three, remain unchanged (Ultra wide angle, macro and depth sensor). And the front camera is the same.
On the other hand, the battery has little change, since its size is reduced. From 4,200 mAh to 4,000 mAh in this model, that's certainly because this chip is energy efficient. The 40W instant charge remains unchanged over the phone.

Price and availability
Currently, this Huawei P40 Lite 5G can only be purchased in Italy, where it is available a total of 399.90 euros. It will probably launch soon in Spain and will certainly be the same price or similar to the one you have in Italy, but we expect news soon.
