New Realme C31, features, price and technical sheet

Family C is the one that includes the most modest and affordable phones in the catalog from the Chinese manufacturer. We find, for example, the Realme C11 (2021), the Realme C21 and, more recently, the Realme C21-Y and C25Y. Now, while waiting for the Realme C35 to arrive in the international market, we have discovered a new model.

This is the Realme C31, a more basic proposal that bet on a Unisoc brain, the same as the aforementioned C21-Y and C-25Y. Its main advantages, as usual in the entry level, are found in its large 5000 mAh battery and its triple rear camera.

Very basic hardware in a nice chassis

The Realme C31 has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a teardrop notch where the 5-megapixel front camera is located. The rear camera, on the other hand, has a 13 megapixel Sony sensora lens for macro photography and a monochrome sensor for portraits.

Inside this new Realme mobile hides the Unisoc T612 processor with up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage, expandable with a microSD card up to 1 TB. Realme UI R Edition based on Android 11 and powered by a 5000 mAh battery (not compatible with fast charging).

Additionally, the Realme C31 has a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button what’s next. The most basic connectivity options at the entry level: Dual SIM 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, a MicroUSB port (yes, at this stage…) and a headphone jack.

Realme C31 versions and prices

The Realme C31 was officially presented in Indonesia, but it is not known if it will reach other markets. It will go on sale there on March 24 at colored backs (dark green and light silver) and in two configurations:

• Realme C31 3GB/32GB: 1,599,000 Indonesian rupees, which is equivalent to around 102 dollars at the current exchange rate.

• Realme C31 4GB/64GB: 1,799,000 Indonesian rupees, which is equivalent to around 114 dollars at the current exchange rate.
