New Vivo S16, S16 Pro and S16e: specs and price

Vivo has formalized the launch of three new mobiles, the Vivo S16, S16 Pro and S16e, of which we already know all the details and which are aimed at different segments of the company’s catalog.

These are devices with 5G connectivity and located in a price range below 500 dollars, placing itself in an ideal position for all those people who do not want a basic mobile, but who are not looking to spend as much as in a top of the range.

There are some similarities between the three devices, such as size, but surprisingly each has a processor made by a different company. All three are running OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13.

It is also AMOLED technology and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its processor, in this case, is the MediaTek Dimension 8200, which is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal storage depending on the version you choose.

Its photographic section consists of three sensors of 50, 12 and 2 megapixels, with the same type of sensors that we find in the Vivo S16: wide angle and macro.

Finally, the Vivo S16e has a slightly smaller size, 6.62 inches, but the panel is also AMOLEDwith a Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 120 hertz that promises a good experience for gaming on mobile.

In this case we find a exynos 1080 processor, a chip manufactured by Samsung and which is complemented by the 8 or 12 GB of RAM offered by the device.

Its internal memory varies between 128 and 256 GB, and the battery remains at the figure of 4,600 mAh with 66W fast charging.

In the photographic section, the Chinese company has decided to introduce a main sensor of 50 megapixels and a macro sensor and a depth sensor, both of 2 megapixels.

Price and availability

The Vivo S16 goes on sale in a Basic version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage for a price of around 335 dollars to change, while its version with the same RAM and 256 GB of internal storage is priced at around 363 dollars.

The Vivo S16 Pro boots from a version of 12 GB of RAM memoryand its storage can be 256 or 512 GB. The exchange price is around 445 and 485 dollars to change, respectively.

Finally, the Vivo S16e has a version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage which costs 280 dollars and also a version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage which costs 310 dollars to change.
