Vivo launched its first phones in Europe last fall and became the first brand to have all of these models updated to Android 11. The brand already left us several models in its low and mid-range range in January. , a range currently being expanded with the official presentation of the Vivo Y31.
This new Vivo Y31 is really a 2021 version of the model of the same name, which was launched in 2015. It has been drastically updated in these six years, in fact the only thing they coincide on is the name, because they leave us with a totally different phone , in the midrange.

A balanced mid-range
The Vivo Y31 leaves us with a design we’ve seen frequently, with its screen with a teardrop-shaped notch, where a 16MP camera sits. The brand has opted for a 6.58 inch LCD panel in size on this device, with Full HD + resolution. Three cameras await us at the back. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side this time.
The phone arrives with Snapdragon 662 as a processor, a classic option in the mid-range, which will give you good performance. Along with the processor is a unique combination of RAM and storage. It is also worth noting its large battery with a capacity of 5000mAh, with support for 18W fast charging and also reverse charging, which is unusual in a cheap smartphone.
Three cameras await us on the back of the Vivo Y31: 48MP main sensor, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. This is a classic combination in this market segment, which works well. Android 11 is the standard operating system, along with FunTouch OS 11, the latest version of the manufacturer’s interface.
Price and availability
This new Vivo Y31 has been officially presented in India, the only country in which its launch has been confirmed for the moment. It arrives in India in a single version of RAM and storage, priced at Rs 16,490, which are around 185 dollars to change.
