Nintendo and Niantic (creator of Pokémon GO) have announced a new augmented reality game based on Nintendo’s Pikmin franchise, a title coming to iOS and Android later this year. According to the two companies in the statement, with this app they want to make walking a fun experience.
The Pikmin games franchise presents us with a series of strategy and puzzle games in which the players run some kind of plants? to destroy the obstacles that prevent them from passing, fight against enemies and even avoid the dangers that surround them.
For now, we only know that this game will use augmented reality and according to Niantic it lets you explore the world with Pikmin’s friends with an approach that will make walking more fun.
