What’s new in Android 15 beta 1.1
The second beta version of Android 15 will arrive in May, the same month as Google I/O, but Google has decided to launch a interim update, beta 1.1to fix some of the bugs that affected Android 15.
There aren’t many fixes, but they are important. This update fixes various issues with the mobile’s NFC that prevented you from using the mobile to pay. This may be related to the possibility of Android 15 adding NFC charging for accessories, something that was leaked a few days ago. Here are the four fixes included in Android 15 Beta 1.1:
- Fixed several issues with NFC that interfered with payment applications and other system operations dependent on NFC.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Developer Options settings screen to crash.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some devices from updating correctly to Beta 1.
- Fixed an issue with text getting cut off when trying to print.
Another important change is that finally OTA update error fixed which has accompanied Android 15 since February, making the update a little more complicated for those who want to try this new version of the system, since they had to install the firmware instead of updating it comfortably from the system.
Yet, Android 15 Beta 1.1 will arrive OTA to those who are part of the Android 15 beta program, with a Pixel 6 or higher, although you can also continue installing the firmware manually.
