We are in the summer of iOS 15 beta, a summer in which, as usual, we can test all the leaked news of the upcoming operating systems for Apple mobile devices. We already have the first public beta with us, and we hope to start testing iOS 15’s third developer beta soon. But remember the most important thing, we are facing beta versions i.e. testing, so chances are you will find another issue with how your device works. Speaking of problems, we comment on the networks that Notes generated in iOS 15 or macOS 12 may not appear in earlier versions … Keep reading as we give you all the details of this issue.
Apparently, the problem lies in the ability to mention users in iOS 15 shared notes, a new feature that will allow us to work collaboratively among all users who share a note. Obviously, this is not a feature that we have in previous versions and for now, several users would report with the notes that use these new features. As reported by 9to5Mac, if the application Notes identifies a device in our iCloud account that is running a version earlier than iOS 14.5 or macOS 11.3, they will notify us that the labeled notes or Notes containing mentions are hidden on these devices. If our devices are updated to iOS 14.5 or macOS Big Sur 11.3, any notes that use mentions or labels can also be displayed.
Obviously Apple wants us to keep our devices up to date, and being in previous versions may cause problems. However, remember that iOS 15 or macOS 12 is in beta and that until the release of the final version, we will not be able to confirm the specifications which are excluded from previous versions or which will not appear in previous versions when we create it in later versions.
