We like to personalize our devices. Whether it’s covers, accessories or changing elements of the system itself, some users prefer to have a device that is as “unique” as possible. For this reason, from time to time we collect the best wallpapers for your Android mobile, but another device that many of us carry with us is the clock.
Personalizing a smartwatch is quite simple. We have both a ton of compatible bands and multiple faces from each manufacturer, plus tons of apps with both wallpapers and the ability to design one from scratch. One of the best known is Facer, which is now updated with 3D animated faces for your Wear OS watch
3D animals and sparkles on your wrist
Facer is a very interesting application. To start, depending on your watch, it recommends certain covers, spheres or watchfaces. These adapt to your device’s resolution and there is a huge community behind it that continuously contributes new designs.
However, it also has the “Facer creator”, a canvas on which we can design our own spheres. It’s not exactly easy to use, but by investing a bit of time, you can get some cool creations totally free.
On the other hand, there are the spheres that the company itself launches and, now, have updated the catalog with 15 3D spheres. They are animated spheres with rich visual effects, but also with a series of small animals created with a high polygonal load which move according to what you do with the watch.
Say hello, they react to being touched, they wake up, pass the time… in short, a few gestures to brighten up the clock a bit. If you want to access the collection, you can do so through this link, but you should keep in mind that These are paid covers, costing 2.19 dollars each.
Installation is very simple. All you have to do is download Facer -at this link- and, if you have a compatible watch, the Play Store will automatically tell you that it can also be installed on your device. After the initial setup, you can see the new 3D designs on the main screen of the mobile app.
There is a preview on the smartphone so you can see how it will look on your watch, but unfortunately we don’t have a “demo” to really put the face on our wrist. But hey, aside from 3D watch faces, there’s a lot of free content you can easily bring to your watch.
These 3D displays are available for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, Pixel Watch, Fossil Gen 6 and all smartwatches with Snapdragon 4100+ SoC.
