You can not only find apps in Google Play on your Android, but also in your computer’s browser. You can even install them on the phone from there: Google Play Store on the web allows download applications remotely. And it has expanded its options to the point where it is comparable to the mobile store, including access to Google Play Points.
The computer can be made more comfortable to find applications, if only because its screen is larger than that of the smartphone (in addition to facilitating the search with the physical keyboard). According to our use, the combination of the Web and the mobile version of Google Play allows to obtain the perfect combination of ease of use, comfort and speed. That’s why we’re happy to see that Google is boosting the browser.
Google Play on the web is comparable to the Android store
Until now, it was possible to browse the web through applications and games, access their description sheet, see which mobile phones the applications are compatible with, Google Play allowed to install the software remotely and even choose which device to download the app on. With the recent changes introduced by Google, the browser avatar menu is comparable to that of the Android store.
When you load https://play.google.com/apps and click on the avatar at the top right, the store displays a menu with many other options. For example, we now have access to “In-game Personalization”, a novelty introduced by Google a few weeks ago. We can see the activity, the applications installed on the devices, the offers that Google Play offers us and even the Google Play Points.
With this change of web interface, it is no longer necessary to access Google Play on your mobile every Friday to see what prizes we have won in Play Points: It is possible to perform the process from the browser. To do this:
- Open the Google Play Store in your computer’s browser (or another device, even an iPhone).
- Click on your avatar icon in the upper right area of your screen.
- Select “Play Points”.
- Go to “Benefits”.
- Click on “Claim” and you will know what you got.
Google Play may offer Play Points or even direct prizes; like months of Google One subscription. The chance to get new prizes is renewed every Friday, so it’s a good idea to go to the store to try again. and prices They improve as you level up– There are five in total (bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond).
With the redesign of the Google Play web menu, it becomes much more convenient to access all the store options without having to open the phone. All that remains is to activate the Google Play Pass section, the shortcut appears in the new menu. Too bad Google doesn’t have it ready yet.
