According to the report by research firm Canalys, Apple is the only supplier of tablets increased sales of its iPads in the last quarter, achieving a growth of 33%. In context, the rest of the brands have instead seen their workforce drop between 20% and 53%.
Europe is an absolute fan of the iPad
Among the details confirmed by Canalys analyst Trang Pham, it was explained that among the causes of the tablets rebound, they include new launches and good supply chain management, to answer the question.
“The consistent performance of today’s iPad is due to Apple’s focus on the tablet market. Apple continues to roll out new iPads throughout the year to serve more customer segments. Despite the crisis, Apple’s vertically integrated supply chain has protected it well from the brunt of the corrective decline. “
Unlike Apple, other companies suffered double-digit declines. Yes indeed, Samsung suffered the biggest drop, with tablet shipments dropping 53%.
Meanwhile, in the Western European IT Market, all major suppliers increased their shipments during the quarter. Apple ranks fourth, behind HP, Lenovo and Dell. Mac shipments increased 27% in one year, and Apple increased its market share from 11% to 12%.
