However, it will not only be relevant advertising for the common user, but also a shock for the industry. Apple will not enter the AI sector alone, but will do so hand in hand with OpenAI with an agreement that, if not formalized, is already raising eyebrows and worrying Microsoft’s own CEO.
This is not surprising if we take into account that Microsoft owns 49% of OpenAI. And the company led by Sam Altman is undoubtedly one of the benchmarks in the generative AI sector, with profits close to $2 billion according to the latest reports from the Financial Times. For its part, at NVIDIA, there does not seem to be the slightest trace of rupture. Moreover, analysts expect that this meteoric rise will not stop and even predict that by the end of fiscal year 2025, they could achieve revenues of $110 billion.
Therefore, we will have to wait until next Monday for this to be made official and for more details about the business that Apple will have with OpenAI to be revealed and whether the saying that there is strength in numbers becomes a reality.
