This week has been important for Amazon’s Alexa platform, with the launch of new Echo speakers, as well as the arrival of the second generation of Echo Auto in Europe. But at Amazon, they want us to remember that we already had several interesting alternatives if we wanted a speaker with Alexa.
Coinciding with these outings, Current Amazon Echoes are now on sale, a perfect opportunity to take the plunge if until now the price had been a brake. Depending on the model, we find discounts of up to 30%, although not all models have new prices.
Specific, the most expensive models in the Echo range are not on sale. So don’t expect to be able to buy the Echo Show 15 or the Echo Studio, as those models still cost over $230. But if you settle for one of the simpler and cheaper models, you can get serious discounts.
Cheaper Amazon Echo
For starters, the 5th Gen Amazon Echo Dot is now priced at £45.99, making it a great alternative if you want a smart speaker in any room. Despite its small size, the Echo Dot speaker is able to cover any room and performs exactly the same functions as the other models; With the fifth generation, a very attractive new round design made its debut.
The next model is the 5th generation Echo Dot w ith a clock, for 53.99 dollars. As the name suggests, the price difference comes from the built-in clock, which makes it a good model to have on your bedside table.
The 4th generation Echo has also been lowered, to 89.99 dollars. Although it is the “basic” model, it is actually a leap from the Dot models in terms of power and sound quality, so it can be the ideal option if we want to listen music through the speaker.
The Echo Show 8 hasn’t been updated like the Echo Show 5, but at least that means we can get it now for $99.99. Its larger HD quality screen can be better if we want to use it in the kitchen, for example.
