The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 have arrived with a new version of the Samsung cape under their arm: A 6.1.1 user interface. Most of the new foldable-exclusive features are new features in One UI 6.1.1 and some of them will come, via an update, to other Samsung phones.

Auto zoom
When recording with Flex Camera mode on a Galaxy Z Flip, the system can recognize people or animals through AI and Automatically adjust the optimal zoom for recording. This new feature debuted on the Z Flip 6 and will also come to the Flip 5, but not the Fold (since they don’t have Flex mode).

Instant Slomo
Instant Slow-mo mode is also available in HDR10+ format when viewing videos in the Gallery app. A menu is added to save the section of the video you watched instant slow motion modewhich you can save separately or share with other apps. It’s featured in the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 and will come to the Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy Tab S9.
Portrait studio
One of the most fun features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will also be available on the previous phones, Portrait Studio. The idea is to take a photo and edit it with generative AI to apply cartoon effects, 3D characters, watercolordesigns and more. It will come to the Z Fold 4, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S9.

Related to the previous one, but even more magical, Sketch to Image, with which you can edit images by doodling on them

Some phones have both astrophotography and portrait modes, but Samsung offers a mode that combines both. With this, you can get portraits with stars in the background.
Answer suggestions in Chat Assist

Chat Assist has a new tool: suggested answers. As we see in Android Authority, we will be able to ask the AI of Samsung phones to give us some options to respond to a chat message. These responses are generated on the device and we can use them from the external screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 or on the watch with One UI 6.
Other changes
- Overlay translation improvements: The on-screen overlay translations have a new design to make them more readable and the integration with text and background colors is improved. It will arrive on the Z Fold 4, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S9.
- RAW format improvements: Image quality has been improved when working with RAW, including better results in JPG and DNG details thanks to AI. Additionally, the RAW editor can edit DNG. This will also reach the Z Fold 4, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S8, and Galaxy Tab S9.
