It seems that with the arrival of One UI 7, this is about to change. Samsung even allows its users to download from the Galaxy Store Custom “Dash Panels” but it recently informed some users that they will no longer be able to do this once they update to the new version of One UI.
Users @theonecid and @TheNewsHQ shared the Notice that they received in their galaxy about the “Edge Panels”. In the notification you can read:
“Hello, this is the Galaxy Store Operations team. Thank you for using the Galaxy Store. We would like to inform you that when you update your device to One UI 7, it will no longer be possible to continue downloading Edge Panels from the Galaxy . Store In any case, Edge Panels downloaded before updating your device will still be available in the “My apps” section of the Galaxy Store (…) Thank you.
