OnePlus is preparing a foldable that will be extremely similar to the OPPO Find N

Developing a mobile phone from scratch is not easy. And if we talk about folding mobiles, you can imagine that this complication is growing exponentially.

Unsurprisingly, only the biggest global brands (Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, OPPO and soon Vivo) have managed to put models of this type on sale. Next up will be OnePlus, a much smaller company but with an edge.

According to the media, OnePlus is preparing a new dual-screen foldable mobile that would be inspired, so to speak, by the Find N.

This move would allow OnePlus to start fighting in a category that is still not very competitive and where Samsung reigns as it wants.

In addition, it would give OPPO the opportunity to enter key markets like the United States, where OnePlus has a presence and the share of expensive mobiles is much higher than in other countries.

This would also allow the foldable to be presented in Europe, where we could see the OPPO Find N but only in the form of prototypes, very finished, but not optimized for the European markets.

If the price is contained and there are not many hardware changes, OnePlus (and indirectly OPPO) could have a good weapon to fight against Samsung’s supremacy in the field of foldable phones.
