The OnePlus Nord will have to wait to have Android 11
The brand announced that the update is temporarily stopped to Android 11 for this OnePlus Nord. Apparently, users of this device have encountered some issues since getting the update. Problems like excessive battery consumption, very slow battery charging, inability to access blocked apps, gallery photos not opening, or app not working issues.
The brand did not give dates for the resumption of the update. In the press release, they acknowledged these failures and that they are currently working to detect their origin, in order to apply a solution as soon as possible, to prevent this type of problem from recurring.
OnePlus Nord users who updated to Android 11 have the option to return to Android 10 temporarily, in case they have any issues on the phone since updating. So they can use the device again without hassle or interruptions while the brand applies solutions.
Users of this branded phone will need to wait longer now until they can enjoy Android 11 on it. News that many users do not like, but it is better to wait for OnePlus to fix these issues and therefore the deployment goes smoothly.
