OnePlus debuted in early March with the Android 11 update for the OnePlus North. The long-awaited update brought the stable version with it, but ten days later Chinese company withdraws OTA, having detected certain stability problems there.
A few days after the update, the community comments arrived expose performance, load, higher power consumption, etc.. OnePlus said in its forum that it detected these errors, so they decided to cripple the OTA and relaunch it once the issues are resolved.
The North needs to fix some issues with Android 11
OnePlus is investigating the issues caused after updating to Android 11, as users reported different types of errors, bugs, and performance issues. Lower performance compared to Android 10 at higher power consumption and even some problems with the photo gallery.
From the OnePlus forum, they assure that they have detected these errors and that they will launch a new update ensuring good performance.
One of the OnePlus staff members posted on the company’s official forum that are aware of mistakes, so they will freeze the update until this is fixed.
“We have noticed that many of you have doubts about the availability of the Nord Android 11 update. The update has been temporarily suspended to ensure a smooth user experience, due to some bugs found. now We try our best to investigate and will release an updated version as soon as possible in the near future. Users who have installed the previous version can solve the problems by updating the latest version. Thank you very much for your patience. “
No date is given when a new update arrives that will fix the issues, although OnePlus hints at the “near future”. As has happened in the past with mobiles such as the Xiaomi Mi A3 and its problems with Android 10, the company preferred to wait and release an error-free version.
Users who have updated to Android 11 and are experiencing performance issues can revert to the previous version from the terminal’s own settings download the return file on Android 10.
