Last summer, during the Google Games Summit 2021, the company launched the “Play while you download” beta program, an important feature of the play store for Android 12 which is not yet available for all its users, something that will change soon.
This afternoon was celebrated Google Games Summit of 2022, and in its conference Google announced that ‘Play while you download’ will arrive soon to all devices running Android 12 along with other new features that will make it easier for developers to bring their games to more screens and users.

This Android 12 feature does not yet have a release date. Google limited itself to saying that ‘Play while you download’ will soon be available for all Android 12 users and all pools point out that we will have new news at the latest in May during Google I/O 2022.
As the name suggests, “Play by Downloading” allows Android 12 users to start playing a new game without having to wait for it to completely download.
