Honor and Porsche collaborated to create a foldable mobile
The first result of this new alliance is the new Honor Magic V2 RSR, the first foldable mobile phone designed by Porsche; and what a design, because as the name suggests, it is inspired by the company’s most successful racing cars, since the RSR definition is normally used for models designed for legendary events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Specifically, the design philosophy focused on applying the functional, “purist” aesthetic of the sportiest Porsches, which prioritize speed and performance. The result is a rear with a design that improves grip in the palm of the hand, according to the company; These are shapes that may appear simple but which in reality take up elements of the hood of the Porsche 911.
There is no doubt that this will be a “premium” mobile; Although its price has not yet been confirmed, Honor and Porsche Design have collaborated on the choice of materials to achieve a weight of only 234 grams and a thickness of only 9.9 mm, although it is a foldable mobile with two screens.
