Spigen has been protecting our iPhone for years and today we have tested two of their most popular specially designed blankets for the new iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Neo Hybrid, silicone and polycarbonate
Spìgen is one of the best-known brands when it comes to iPhone cases, and the Neo Hybrid case is one of the classics in user collections. Combination of a silicone case with a polycarbonate frame, Spigen gets a blanket with design and properties that make it a versatile product for every day and every occasion.
Among the properties of the blanket is a specially reinforced shock absorption system in the corners, in addition to an interior design that makes falls less dangerous for our device. The case stands out both in the front part, to protect the screen of our terminal, and in the part that surrounds the camera, to avoid scratching when you place the iPhone on any surface.
The cutouts for the speaker, microphone, and Lightning connector at the bottom, as well as our iPhone’s silent mode switch, and the silicone buttons, with a very soft pulsation and a very good touchThese are the elements that break the polycarbonate frame, which we can separate from the rest of the cover so that we can place the cover more easily. It is one of the most protective cases that it is easier to put on or take off from our iPhone.
The polycarbonate frame is finished in a brushed bronze color which makes it feel metallic, which speaks very well of its good finish. The frame allows a good grip of the device, in addition to contributing very favorably to the good appearance of the case. The back of the case has a triangular pattern and a Spigen mark on the bottom, which is quite concealed.
Neo Hybrid Crystal, if you prefer transparency
The other case we tested retains the same design lines, but this time with a transparent main structure, which combines protection with the maintenance of the design of our iPhone, which This allows us to see the color we have chosen for our smartphone. The case is also made up of two parts, with a black polycarbonate frame that surrounds the entire profile of our phone.
This different design maintains the high protection of our iPhone, while maintaining accessibility to all buttons, the mute switch and respective holes for the microphone and speaker, as well as for the Lightning connector. The pressure on the buttons is very good, although it is slightly more difficult compared to the previous model, but still maintaining the good feel.
Protection, design and price
Spigen offers us two similar but different covers, sharing the premises of the brand: good price, good design and good finish. These are not the most protective covers, but they reach a good level with a fairly tight thickness, and most importantly, at a great price, which makes it a product to consider for anyone looking for an all-terrain case. They are also available in different colors so that you can choose as you like.
